School
- We have an incubator in our school. In it we have 2 goose eggs, 7 duck eggs and 7 chicken eggs.
- An incubator is a large heated box which helps the eggs to hatch.
- It usually takes 3 weeks for chicken and duck eggs to hatch and 4 weeks for the goose eggs to hatch.
- All the young birds must be kept warm, fed and given water regularly.
- Ducklings once hatched can swim in lukewarm water but also have to be kept warm.
- We will get to choose the names of our new arrivals.
- We are all very excited.
