Boy's Football

Sport

  • Croghan school football was formed in 1963 when the school opened. We joined Cumann na mBunscoil in 1987 winning the same year.
  • Mr. Brady is the team manager. Croghan school has produced great footballers over the years.
  • We are currently the Cumann na mBunscoil champions as we defeated Geashill N.S. in an epic encounter in O' Connor Park on the 12th of November. It will definately be a match we will remember for the rest of our lives.
  • We train every week in school at lunchtime and also attend training in Rhode G.A.A. where we get great help from teachers in the other two parish schools as well as from parents and other club members.
